Course Description

Effective communication is a vital part of our lives in and out of the office. We communicate to inform, persuade and remind. Yet many people fail to communicate effectively, thus inadvertently crippling productivity.

This programme draws the attention of learners at all levels to the distinctions between management and leadership. It enables them to identify the importance of a vision, and to create and communicate their vision vividly and repeatedly.

Learners will understand the importance of showing dedication to the vision through their enthusiasm, persistence, dedication and problem-solving abilities. They then focus on achieving the vision by mobilising and building on the personal strengths of all team members, and addressing their individual needs to maximise the effectiveness of the team.

Following participation in the Achieving Results Through Leadership programme, learners will have acquired new techniques for developing focused, commitment-driven performance in their teams that builds on a participative, quality-oriented leadership style. Leaders will also be able to enhance individual and team performance by building on the strengths of diverse backgrounds and skills of their team members.

Developing the effectiveness of leaders at every level of an organisation will assist organisations to become more innovative, responsive and competitive, thus ensuring sustainability and future success.
