Selling over the phone is a specialist activity and is quite different to F2F selling. It is vital that you learn these techniques and strategies:

“Hello, Mr. Smit? My name is John Rice; I hope this is a convenient moment for you. I’d like to talk to you about”… (Insert an annoying or irrelevant product here)… give the caller another 10 to 15 seconds to continue reading the script, and then try to get a word in to say that you don’t actually need whatever it is they’re obviously selling… Get the picture? Why does it take us less than 3 seconds to realise that we’re being sold to? How do we create meaningful conversations?
