Effective Speaking is about getting your message across powerfully, using your own personality and passion. We as human beings are all moved and influenced by emotion (the human element). People buy from passionate and confident people. This is a crucial factor in getting your message across.
Most companies encourage people to use Powerpoint because most people are not Effective Speakers. This is not to say that Powerpoint is not a useful tool when used in the right way.
The critical elements for getting results are confidence, self belief, professionalism, the willingness to be different and the genuine demonstration of having fun. These principles dictate the way in which the programme is run. Perception is everything when it comes to speaking, and delegates are shown what perception their current speaking style is creating and then how to create a perception of professionalism, confidence, passion, and sincerity.
